Do I need PCB design experience to begin?
No. Start with a clear goal and finished modules, validate the behavior, then organize stable connections into a carrier board.
Can it connect to Home Assistant or MQTT?
ESP32, sensors, and network modules can be organized as project capabilities. Protocol, power, and safety requirements still need project-specific confirmation.
Why not keep using breadboards and jumper wires?
Temporary wiring is excellent for exploration. Long-running rack monitors and controllers benefit from fixed connections, explicit power boundaries, and reproducible files.
